Marimer Isotonic and Marimer Isotonic Unidose: MARIMER, a natural product is a physiological sterile and micro-diffused sea water solution. Naturally rich in mineral salts and marine trace elements. MARIMER is recommended for babies, children and adults for the daily cleansing of the nasal passages, especially in case of dried or obstructed nose. The micro-diffusion system of Marimer Isotonic ensures the gentle drainage of the nasal secretions. Marimer Isotonic can be administered in any position. A good hygiene of the nose helps to protect the mucous membranes from external attacks (cold weather, allergies, dry atmosphere, polution) and helps the nose to assure its breathing function.
Marimer Isotonic Baby: Marimer Isotonic BABY is a physiological sterile and micro-diffused sea water solution. Naturally rich in mineral salts and marine trace elements, Marimer Isotonic Baby is recommended for infant and young child for the daily cleansing of the nasal airways and for the humidification of the dried nose. The micro-diffusion system of Marimer Isotonic BABY facilitates the drainage of the nasal airways. The safety collar nozzle ensures an utilisation without risks for new-born babies. Marimer Isotonic BABY can be administered in any position. A good hygiene of the nose helps to protect the mucous membranes from external attacks (cold weather, allergies, dry atmosphere, polution) and helps the nose to assure its breathing function. Until 6 months old, infants only breathe through their noses.
Indications/Uses
MARIMER is suitable for very young children, in nasal instillation or washing.
MARIMER is recommended: For the daily cleansing of the nasal passages. In case of obstructed nasal passages, to encourage elimination of mucus. For the humidification of the dried nasal mucous membrane. To complement treatment for ENT disorders.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Marimer Isotonic: 1 pulverisation per nostril 1 to 4 times a day depending on needs. Marimer Isotonic can be used daily for a long period of time.
Marimer Isotonic Baby: 1 pulverisation per nostril, preferably before each meal, 1 to 4 times a day depending on needs. Marimer Isotonic BABY can be used daily for a long period of time.
Marimer Unidose: For daily hygiene: 1 to 4 times a day in each nostril.
In case of obstructed nasal passages: 4 to 6 times a day in each nostril as needed before application of other local treatments.
Warnings
Marimer Isotonic/Marimer Isotonic Baby: Do not use in premature infant.
Special Precautions
Marimer Isotonic: Clean the nozzle with warm soapy water after each use. Rinse and wipe.
Marimer Isotonic Unidose: For babies, instill the product with a minimum of pressure in order to avoid any risk of contaminating the middle ear.
Caution For Usage
Instructions for Use: Marimer Isotonic: Tilt the patient's head on the side.
Put gently the nozzle in the upper nostril and pulverise Marimer Isotonic.
Repeat with the other nostril.
Straighten the head in order to let the mucosities drag down, then wipe the excess or blow the nose.
Marimer Isotonic Baby: It is recommended to lie down the infant, or to place children in a seated or standing position.
Tilt the patient's head on the side.
Put gently the nozzle in the upper nostril and pulverise Marimer Isotonic Baby.
Repeat the operation with the other nostril.
Straighten the head in order to let the mucosities drag down.
For new-born babies wipe the excess. Use a baby nasal aspirator in case of strong flow to gently aspirate the mucous secretions.
For young child: ask him to blow the nose.
Marimer Isotonic Unidose: The single-dose vial presentation and form make it easy and safe to use. Detach a single-dose vial and open it by twisting off the top.
In instillation or washes: The child should first blow his/her nose, one nostril at a time.
It is recommended to lie down the babies, or to place children in a seated or standing position, with the head tilted to one side.
Introduce the tip into the nostril and press lightly on the single-dose vial.
Repeat the operation for the other nostril.
Bring the head up so that the mucus can run out, then wipe away any excess.
Avoid blowing the infant's nose immediately after administration, to prolong the action of the product.
Storage
Marimer Isotonic/Marimer Isotonic Baby: Pressurized container: May burst if heated. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, hot surfaces and any other sources of ignition. No smoking. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C/ 122°F.
Marimer Isotonic Unidose: Store at room temperature in between 15°C & 30°C.
